The story of the need, where did the idea for BACKRAMP come from?

 

When my son first got on a motorcycle, I already knew I would have a riding partner. However, with each subsequent visit to the motocross track or to the forest, one thing began to irritate me - loading our motorcycles onto the trailer. It was a process that took forever, and every minute spent fighting with the trailer was, in my opinion, a lost minute. In addition, these speed limits on the road to 80 km/h... It simply took away the pleasure.

The alternative was to drive a delivery van, but this meant a lack of comfort and pleasure. After all, you have to have one in the first place, and besides, who can afford a van just to transport motorcycles? I searched the entire market, searched the internet, talked to other motorcyclists, and what did I find? Nothing. Nothing that could meet my expectations. Every product I saw seemed not to be what I wanted. And here, along with the need, an idea appeared. The idea was followed by implementation.

The decision was made quickly. In my head, an image of a rack was born that would not only be practical and durable, but would also serve my son and his children. The long design and testing process may have been tedious, but I created something I was looking for and that I can recommend to you.

My rack had to be easy to keep clean, aesthetic and unique in appearance. Quick loading and unloading of the motorcycle, durable mounting and practical immobilization of the front wheel were also key. These were the conditions that it had to meet to meet my needs.

I also had to make sure that after returning from the motocross track or the forest, I could quickly wash the motorcycle on the rack, without worrying about the mud that might remain on it.
